What will Sunday 18th June mean for you?
Each year in the UK, we dedicate the third Sunday in June to the fathers,
but the ‘Day of the Dad’ can look & feel very different from family to family.
Whether you are a biological father, a stepfather, an adoptive father or a father figure – if you are showing up then you deserve to be celebrated!
Raising children is no small feat & I think it’s safe to say that most of us will have at least one man that comes to mind when we think of how our lives have been shaped for the better.
To the day-in, day-out dads
To the weekend dads
To the dads no longer with us
To the dads who earned the name

Speaking of favourite things here are four fun & almost free father’s Day activity ideas:
Daddy Bears Picnic – Grab your favourite teddies & a hamper of delicious snacks & head off into the woods for a picnic fit for a…bear?!
Team Dad – Arrange a game of rounders or cricket at the local park with family friends & play Dads vs Mums/Kids!
Daddy Day Care – Give dad five blank cards & ask him to write his wishes for the day (might be ‘grab me a beer’ or perhaps ‘no kid zone for 1 hour’ haha), let him hand them out over the course of the day!
Dad’s Den Keep Out – Make a father’s day fortress together; whether it is outside or in, this is sure to help him release his inner child!
